Hi All! I am very much loved, not only by Jeanne and Utah, but all
who meet me. I am a little heavy for people to pick up and hug...but
they promise to do it as long as they can lift me. I am bigger than my
sister, Christa. I get her down when either we go see her or she comes
here. They had to separate us for a bit yesterday. I get away with
many things with Utah and he is big enough to take it.
One of my favorite play toys is a raw sweet potato. Mom gets us up
early to go out and play (my favorite time, hehehehe). One potato lasts
me about 4 days. Mom says it's her "calming device" for me.
Whatever!!
Back to chewing. I'll give another update in a couple of weeks.
December 30, 2008:
Happy New Year, almost. Just want you to know that I am living up to
my "meanie name"! I got into the paper recycling bin today and did a
bunch of shredding...and I am still ready to go!!!!! Although, mom
did give me a stern talking. Today, I got my new rabies jewelry(tag)
for the first time at my 4 month old anniversary! I was very good at
the clinic and everyone loves me! Mom did not know...but, Dr. Teter,
my vet...pointed out to her that I got my two upper front adult teeth
right on time for Christmas! I am getting to be quite a big girl! I now
weigh 25.6 pounds! Dr. Teter says that most dogs final ideal weight
is twice their weight at 4 months. Dang! That is great! I will be close
to my "bro" Utah's weight...so I can try to control things if I wish ....
hah, hah ... just waiting for my chance! heh...heh...heh!
My wonderful Vet also said that I have exquisite bone structure,
correct & nice teeth, nice symmetrical markings, and a lovely
expressive personality. I already love seeing her and all the other
folks at the pet clinic. It is obvious that they all appreciate what a
wonderful girl I am! They invited us to come into the waiting
room...even if we do not have an appointment...to move forward my
socialization!
Mom has a big time respiratory infection...so we pray that she gets
well very soon so we can attend our upcoming classes right after
New Year's day!
